Reuban Margolin - Kinetic Sculptures

Using found objects and a lot of string, Reuben Margolin creates singular techno-kinetic wave sculptures. Here's a video featuring Margolin describing his process in his own words:

Reuban Margolin

Reuban Margolin earned a BA in English at Harvard University before studying drawing in Florence and then monumental painting the St. Petersburg academy of Art. Yep, a pretty dynamic guy. It was math and physics that earned Margolin a spot a Harvard. And, when he got there the humanities pulled him into the world of poetry and art. In 2004 he moved to his Emmeryville studio and began bringing it all together. His large-scale undulating mobiles have captured peoples imaginations around the world.
